Political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal factors.
Last reviewedWhat does PESTEL analysis mean?
PESTEL is a checklist of outside factors that can affect a market: political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal. It grew out of Francis Aguilar's environmental scanning work (1967). Use it to spot trends and risks, then keep only the few that matter for the decision.
