Communication
Top-down communication
Say the answer first, then the reasons.
Last reviewedWhat does Top-down communication mean?
Top-down means you lead with your conclusion (the headline), then give the supporting reasons underneath. It is how busy executives want to be briefed. The opposite, bottom-up, walks through all the detail and saves the point for the end, which loses the listener. This is different from top-down market sizing.
