Fit
Fit interview
The personal half of the interview, about you.
Last reviewedWhat does Fit interview mean?
The fit interview (also called the behavioral or personal interview) is the part that is not a case. It asks about your experiences and motivations: why consulting, why this firm, why you, and stories about leadership, persuasion, conflict and drive. At McKinsey it counts about as much as the case. At other firms it is shorter, but a weak answer can still cost the offer.
