Launching a new drug in England

Prints the prompt and every part you have revealed so far.

New to this industry?Start with its one-minute summary: Healthcare providers and payers

The prompt

A drug maker plans to launch a new drug in England at GBP 28,000 per course. Trials show it adds 0.5 QALYs per patient compared with the current treatment. About 8,000 patients a year are eligible, and about half would get it once approved. The exhibit summarizes the costs. Will it be approved at this price, and what should the company do?

Interviewer-led: the interviewer shows the cost table and asks for the cost per QALY.

Practice with a partner

1. Send the interviewer link to a friend. They read the case aloud and hold the answers.

2. You open the candidate view: you see only the prompt, a timer and a notes box.

3. Speak the case out loud. Your partner shares data when you ask, then scores you with the rubric.
